Windows Options from WCC
WCC has provided some options for the windows in Russell House. Some or all of the windows may be replaced.
Here are photographs and specifications for replacement sash windows in timber with double glazing, supplied by the company Timbawood.
Timbawood has also supplied photographs of an alternative design with tilting sashes to facilitate cleaning.
WCC has also repaired two windows on the ground floor. Here are photographs of the repair work before decoration is completed in February.
Following the decision to go for full replacement of all windows, WCC has circulated details of the two types of opening mechanisms, so that residents can vote on which one they prefer. The voting deadline is 13 June 2025
Resident Drop-in – Thursday 29th May 2025
There will be an opportunity for residents to view the sample windows at a drop-in being held at
Churchill Gardens Hall small bar on Thursday 29th May from 11am to 1pm and 5pm to 7pm. You can
also wait until you have viewed the sample windows to provide us with your feedback.
